2014 Early College Signing Day at Penn

Thirteen student athletes participated in the NCAA early signing day at Penn early Wednesday morning, November 12. Former Penn varsity volleyball coach Lisa Pawlik inducted into the Hall of Fame

Former Penn varsity volleyball coach Lisa Pawlik has been inducted into the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) Hall of Fame. 

Lisa was honored for her outstanding career as a coach and in recognition of her contributions to the sport. She shares her gratitude with the community that supported her, below:  

U.S. Baseball Academy coming to Penn High School in 2015

The U.S. Baseball Academy, the nation's largest training program, is coming to Penn High School in 2015. U.S Baseball Academy's Spring Training 2015 is a unique concept that provides young players with advanced hitting, pitching, fielding/baserunning, catching training programs and instruction by some of the area's best coaches. This national baseball training program is operated locally by Site Director Greg Dikos, Head Coach at Penn High School.

Penn girls cross country team finishes fourth at state finals

The Penn girls cross country team finished fourth at the 34th annual IHSAA state finals on Saturday, November 2. Penn's Maddie Woods, the Ohio State-bound senior, wrapped up a stellar career for the Kingsmen with her third place individual finish, clocking 17:55.7. Woods, Taylor Nicholson from Avon, and Greenwood’s Alexandra Dalton battled for second over the final 3,000 meters of the race.

Concussion information for parents and student athletes

In 2012, Indiana legislators passed a law that requires student-athletes and parents to review and sign off on information related to the potential for concussions when participating in athletics. The forms below provide information on concussions. The concussion form (last document below) is required for participation in athletics at Penn High School.
